I delayed the purchase of the Mazda Cosmo!
Simply because me and my boss went to a cafe and discuss about a new company car for the execs.
For 13 years, all the execs in my company is driving a bland, beige, horrifyingly boring Toyota Camry. And my boss, being a car guy, hates to see he have to park his 612 Scaglietti next to a Camry.
So, we discussing about a better car. And i can't think a better car except the Jaguar XF. Simply because:
1. The current F10 5-Series is kinda ugly
2. The E-class is well, a bit mainstream.
3. The A4 doesn't really screams luxury.
4. The Ghibli is too expensive.
5. We're not a mafia so we skips the 300C.
6. The Camry is boring.
7. So does the Crown.
8. Hyundai Equus is not sold yet in here.
9. It's a Jaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaag.
10. It's well-priced and well-equip.
*flamesuit on
Anyway, next week we'll check the Jaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaag XF 2.0 . Any questions?

I do find it's funny that you're comparing Camry to XF to 300C. Also, I like the A4 for the business image, but it's really dependent on budget, I think. Being in the US, I'm assuming prices are skewed here, because I can't think of anyone that would cross shop many of these cars.

Simply because i live in a country where the base model camry cost 60k and a base model XF is 95k, and the 300C is cost 100k.
A4 is included simply because it's start at 75k in here.
Yes, the cars are expensive in here, but the jaaaaaaaaag is really a steal.

I agree. With that amount of price skew, it seems like a no-brainer to me. I have a bias against VAG and Chrysler products, and this seems terrific! I also like the E-Class idea, but again, if the price is similar, I can't see why you wouldn't jump on it. I know which of the bunch I'd be driving, given the choice.

Well, the e-class is start at 75k, which is nice. And it's avaliable with Manual. I love the E-class, but in here the taxis is also an E-Class, so it's mainstream.

I don't think your company's executives are going to appreciate manual luxury cars, lol. As much as I want manual for my personal car, company cars I sure don't.

Yep.
And honestly, I kinda thinking that the current E-Class is sport saloon.
The previous gen was the real luxury one.
